NICK NAME: All Keru goes by is Keru, period. She absolutely hates the way her full name sounds; hell, her shortened nickname isn't much better, either. But at least it's manageable.

HAIR: One thing that changes nearly every month is her hair. But don't even begin to think that Kitty is one to stick to the natural colors; she isn't. The most common color (and the only color she's actually been wearing for two, almost three months) is hot pink, with some blond and black underlights. But, for the most part, all you can see is the pink. She absolutely adores her current hair color that she doubts it'll be changing for maybe another month, but possibly two. Her hair is naturally blond, which saves her the time of having to bleach it whenever she feels like dying it an odd color. Her hair is worn in essentially the same way every single day; the only difference is when she straightens it or not. But even straightening it doesn't make much of a difference; her hair is naturally straight.
STYLE: Keru's clothing style is brighter than most people would associate with the way she acts. Rather than falling into any sort of a label, she tends to dress in accordance with how she feels; on a day where she's tired, she tends to stick with sweats or gym shorts. Visa versa with her up days; she's often seen in skirts, shortened with a pair of scissors. The majority of Keru's outfits are...revealing, to say the least; not for shock value, but she's simply found out that the skimpier she dresses, the easier it is to hook up with someone. And that's all that matters to her.
OTHER:No matter how much Keru adores piercings, she has no facial piercings, save for her tongue. Tattoos are a differnt story, though. She has two - a rainbow heart on the inside of her right forearm and the words 'rock city' on her knuckles, one letter per knuckle. As far as scars, the only noticeable marks are on the inside of her elbows, where she shoots up. While some people are smart enough to shoot up inbetween their fingers or toes, Keru started injecting herself in the most noticeable place on her arm. And now, well, the habit just stuck.

GENERAL DISPOSITION:
Most people are quick to label Keru and, when they do, the label's often quite fitting. Keru falls into the 'slut' category most of the time, which is often more than true. She's the kind of girl who finds sex to be the key to any relationship and, more often than not, bases relationships off of only that. That is one of the only reasons Keru is pleasant to most of the males she meets; she's more willing to sleep around to get what she wants, rather than actually work for it. But to other girls? Unless Keru's attracted to them in a sexual way, she can be quite the bitch. At least, she'll play the bitch when sober. When high, Keru is the kind of girl who's just more than bubbly and constantly talking.

When you first meet her, she just screams druggy. When she's not using, she's twitching. And when she is using heavily, her personality is so faux, so bubbly and happy that it's obviously she's on something. On normal days, when she's coming down from her high, Keru often gets extremely irritable. That is when she's in the bitchiest mood, regardless of the gender of the person she's conversing with. And, when she's itching for drugs, she becomes obviously desperate...to the point she'd do nearly anything. But you just have to expect that from her.
SELF-IMAGE:
Even though Keru rarely thinks about herself - due to her attempted constant highs - her thoughts are never really pleasant or up-lifting. In fact, Keru regards herself with a rather negative tone. She believes she's a sell-out and, more than anything, a whore - which is rather true. While she can hold a faux-euophoric, bubbly persona while under the influence, she's the exact opposite when sober. And in her mind? She's a bitch. She's everything she hates, everything she never wanted to be, which makes her quite the hypocrite. She often believes that she falls perfectly into the category or a drugged up slut, which she often calls herself while sober. And, of course, that personal label of hers is rather truthful.
GENERAL PERSONALITY:
It's not always hard to find Keru in a mad mood. Actually, it's relatively hard to find her in a good mood. Keru's first impressions aren't always the best, but that's what you have to expect from her. She has trouble controlling a lot of things she says, mainly because she usually fails to thinks before acting. This has caused her to get into multiple 'fights' before. Something that Keru would benefit from is learning how to control what she says, because eventually, she'll end up insulting the wrong type of person.

After you've been around Keru for a little while, it's quite easy to see that she simply hates authority and will occasionally go out of her way to break rules. What can I say; it's so much fun to get into trouble. In her past, she has done illegal things, though nothing more than the occasional theft (what, do you think she has enough money to get whatever she wants?) and taking things that aren't considered legal. But, currently, she doesn't take any drugs, or at least not voluntarily. The only pills Keru has access to are her insanity pills, which the nurses literally have to force her to take. Other than that, she's had to cut vicodin and oxycodone out of her diet, for the simple reasons of not being able to find it. After all, she finds it to be rather difficult to locate the pain killers in a psycho hospital, or at least find them in a vulnerable place where she could actually take them.

In truth, Keru can be a lot nicer than she seems. But, first, you have to get past her hard exterior. To put it bluntly, Keru's been burned often in the past, whether it was by those she considered her friends, or abandoning foster parents. Whatever the case, it's become difficult for Keru to trust anyone and to form an appropriate relationship with them. For both males and females, she finds the easiest way to form any sort of a bond is through sex, which is currently prohibited because of her housing situation. But, hey, she wouldn't mind sneaking away to a janitor's storage room to, you know, 'do it.' What can I say; Keru likes sex. In the past, it's been the only way she's been able to even get close to bonding with another human.

To put things bluntly, Keru can be a real bitch. You catch her on the wrong day, she'll throw a bitch fit with even the smallest comment about her personality, appearance, or current situation. When it comes to fighting, she's willing take take on both guys and girls, though she's never actually fought a boy before. At least not seriously. As for girls, she doesn't to the whole pissy fit; she throws punches. But you have to expect that from her. Keru has a bit of an attitude; she's more than willing to share it with everyone, including authority in the form of teachers, doctors, her step parents, and, of course, cops. What can I say; after being picked up the first time for prostitation and solicitation, she absolutely despises law enforcement.

BRIEF HISTORY:
November twentieth turned out to be a pretty darn magical day for Tatiana and Kevin Austin; it turned out to be the day their first born child, a bubbly blond daughter, was born. She was supposed to be a 'he' (the doctor had make a mistake and said that the couple was expecting a son,) so the name Kakeru was a bit rushed. Her name came from her mother's grandmother, who had recently passed away. The newly wed couple charished and even spoiled the girl beyond belief, but that had to be expected from them; after all, the girl was their first child. What they didn't know was that five years later, they'd have another bubbling daughter coming along.

The hardest thing for Keru to adjust to came when she was a mere five years old; her baby sister. From the start, she began looking at her sister only as something that took all the attention away from here. And, without a doubt, she hated it. Hard feelings towards her younger sister were felt throughout Keru's childhood and into her teens, proving her selfish outlook on life. After all, she was supposed to be in the spotlight all the time, not her sister, but her - Keru.

The second hardest thing for Keru to adjust to came when she was ten years old, when her parents started fighting, which eventually led to a divorce. It happened to be rather messy, figuring both of her parents were independently wealthy and both of them wanted the two girls. In the end, because it was proven that Keru's father cheated on her mother, Keru's mom got custody and half of her ex husband's earnings. That set her off pretty damn good until the woman remarried, this time to someone equally wealthy. A gold digger? No; she was making enough money on her own at the time that she'd definately be able to provide for herself and her daughters. But she still married an extremely wealthy man; this time the owner of a successful recording company. Because of this, Keru grew up on music, well, at least from the time she was ten on. Keru never really liked her step dad, though she did put up with him to the extent that she'd occasionally call him 'dad'. But only when she really wanted something. Other than that, she referred to him as Logan. And that suited both daughter and step father just fine.

Keru turned out to be a rather troublesome kid growing up, especially when she went into highschool. Whether it was the time she came home from spending the night at a friends house with bright blue hair when she was thirteen (she didn't think it was that big of a deal, but her mother felt differently) or the time her friend's parents caught her and a group of girls playing rainbow party princess with a couple of guys from school when she was fourteen (just a freshman.) Yes, Keru turned out to be quite a handful. But, before she was sixteen years old, she only got into petty trouble. And then came the drugs.

Keru had only experimented with pills throughout her first two years of highschool but, when she was sixteen, one of her boyfriends introduced her to marijuana. That satisfied her for nearly half a year before he offered to cough up cocain, which eventually led to heroin. Coming from a wealthy backgroun, Keru was easily able to fund her drug habits...at least until her parents figured out what she was spending their money on. When Keru was seventeen and heavily addicted to heroin, she got into a major fight with her parents, which led to her leaving home and dropping out of highschool. She left town without second thought and fled to the city, penniless. Immediately, she got into the prostitution business, which she supplemented with stripping as soon as she turned eighteen.
