BRIEF HISTORY:
Rayner never knew his mother as she died giving birth to him, and his father was always a mysterious character. It was clear that he wanted no part of Rayner's or Leo's upbringing, and so when Rayner reached the age of 10, JJ abandoned his two sons. They were sent into foster care but they soon ran away after their careworkers began to abuse them. Living alone on the streets, a middle-aged man took them in and taught them to survive on the streets; even encouraged them to join gangs. When Rayner turned 18, he found a place of his own and moved in to Derry, where he now still resides.
