Gabby walked into the huge mall she stopped when she came to a store map. She looked at the long list's of store names before she came to the name Payless. She glanced down at her high heel's she had on and decided to sit down for a moment to see how much cash she had on her. She needed to get some new footwear before the baby came. She knew high heel's and late night's wern't going to work out. Seeing that she had enough money for a few new pair's she gatherd up her purse and went on her way. She didn't notice all the people watching her probly thinking what is a 6 month pregnant women doing in heel's she must be crazy. She just kept walking untill she reached the store.

Officer Leo Reeve As Leo Reeve's green-blue eyes scanned his surroundings, the young officer turned in his seat and smiled at the waitress walking towards him. He was undercover, trying to get some information on a series of robberies that had happened recently in the mall. He was going to find that armed son of a bitch, and put him away for life. But first, he wanted a snack.
Just a coffee and a cheese sandwich, please. He handed the menu back to the waitress as she nodded and headed back to the kitchen to get his order. That girl had no idea why he was here. Thank god I'm not in uniform, he thought to himself, eyeing a group of rough-looking teenagers at the other side of the cafe. If anyone knew he was in the police force, he'd either be told to leave, or worse - attacked. No one liked officers now-a-days. He was just trying to protect the community, but his presence seemed to make people uncomfortable; like they had to constantly be careful of what they were saying. He knew that would happen anyway, when he first joined the force, but he had no idea it would cause him to lose all of his friends. Most of the goings-on in town were illegal, so how could anyone talk to him about anything? It was a risk for any criminal, and in this town, everyone was a criminal.
As he saw the waitress return with his food, he thanked her and wolfed it down as fast as he could. The suspicious teenagers were leaving, and at the moment, it was the only lead he had. He had to follow them. It would mean putting his life on the line, again, especially if they were the armed burglars, but it was all in a days work.
He nodded another thankyou to the waitress and got up, still watching the teenagers. They were walking towards a jewellery store now, but they didn't look like the type that actually buys things. They looked like the type to steal things.
Leo left the cafe and slowly ambled along, keeping his distance but also watching the youths. Gazing inside shop windows, he spotted a pregnant woman a few metres away, almost hobbling in those huge high-heels. He chuckled. Even when pregnant, girls still had to look their best.
Morning. He smiled at the woman, shooting a glance over her shoulder at the teens, then quicky looking back at her. Need a hand? Those shoes look like they're killing you. He wondered if this woman would ignore him, just like everyone else did when they found out he was an officer. He needed to get into a proper conversation with her, so he could watch the teens but still look like a regular guy. Plus, the lady wasn't bad looking. Maybe if he was lucky, he'd get a number today.

Gabby was busy picking out some shoes when she heard a male voice. She glanced up not noticing the box in her right hand was going to fall staright to the ground. " Morning" she said glancing up to the man. 'yes please" she said right before the box magicaly fell out of her hands. " i am so sorry" she said bending down to pick up the box. Luckly she didnt' trip over the many boxes laying all over the ground. " Ohh im so sorry i forgot my manners im gabby" she said smiling at the man
She glanced around the nearly empty store kind of embarresed of the mess she made of the shoe area. " It's kinda hard picking out shoes and trying them on when im as big as a house" she rambled on. "

Officer Leo Reeve Leo grinned and shook his head as she spoke. She was friendly, and for once a lady hadn't given him one look and walked off. He was quite used to it by now, but sometimes if he really liked the girl, it made him angry. Why should he be treated any different to other guys? He was just as good, in fact he was better, he was out putting his life on the line every day so that everyone else around this god damn town could live their own lives safely. If people didn't like that, why the hell not? He was tired of it, it was time people started treating him with respect.
As he realised the woman in front of him was actually being nice, the anger seeped out of him and he relaxed again. She was quite pretty, aside from being rather large in her pregnancy. If he kept talking with her, he might just get a number. If she wasn't married, that is. If she was, he'd be annoyed, if she wasn't, all the better for him. He didn't really want to be involved with a pregnant woman, but in his position, you could never be too fussy. You don't need to apologise, it isn't your fault. He smiled again and bent down to pick up the boxes on the floor. There were quite a few pairs of shoes lying on the floor. He picked them up politely and placed them on a nearby table, watching the storekeeper closely. The woman behind the counter looked annoyed, and he chuckled to himself and turned back to the woman, who called herself Gabby.
Nice to meet you, Gabby. I'm Leo. He decided to leave out the fact that he was in the police force. She'd probably just walk away, although she didn't look like the type of person who'd do that. What're you doing walking around by yourself? You look like you could use some help, someone should be here to assist you! He smiled and looked over her shoulder, soon realising he'd forgotten about the teenagers. They were nowhere to be seen, great. The one chance he'd had, and he'd blown it chatting to a woman he just met! His boss would kill him, that was for sure.
He looked at the woman, struggling to decide whether to stay or go. If he stayed, he'd have a chance at actually getting a date, but he probably wouldn't see those teens again. On the other hand, he could go looking for the teens and have a chance at catching the armed burglars, but miss out on his only chance for a date.
He shifted his gaze from Gabby to the jewellery store, then back to Gabby. He shook his head, deciding to stay. The boys were probably gone now anyway, and if they had been the burglars, an alarm would have gone off by now anyway.

She watched his sudden movement's as he looked at the jewerly store back to her. She smiled at him and set some boxe's back on the shelf. " Leo's such a nice name" she said turning her attention back to him. " I usally come to the mall by myself because i enjoy peace and quiet" she said taking her purse and hooking it on her arm. She smiled once agin picking up the shoe's she liked as she began walking towards the front desk.
" will that be all" the clerk asked as she placed the boxes on the counter. " Yes ma'am" gabby said taking her purse off her shoulder as the lady rung up the shoes. Searching in her huge purse she found her wallet as the lady glared at her before speaking. " it will be 25 even" the clerk said checking leo out behind gabby. Gabby quickly placed the money on the counter.
" Thank you" she said to the clerk as she made her way out of the store. She glanced around before finding a bench and waddling over to sit down for a moment. She took out her new shoes and put them on placing her old heels in the box. She was going to say something when the baby kicked really hard. She gasped then looked at leo. " it seem's like someone want's food do you want to go to the food court with me"
